Happy New Year, yoga friends!
This year, we appreciate the power of humble habits.
This month, we sink our teeth into sensuousness.
This class, you’ll peel yourself back layer by layer, revealing the infinite well of radiance that lies within you.
Start classically and relatively slowly to wake up, open up and stretch.

Then we move toward a strengthening phase that includes an inversion and feel-incredible binds.

Playfully, we have a class motif. It’s a one-legged chapasana or bow-style grab that we manage to do in 4 different planes:
- knee-down
- in side plank
- in a standing balance
- in pigeon

I absolutely love this kind of sequencing magic that can’t be created from a formula.
We also squeeze in the splits, yeehaw.
We wind it down with pigeon and a few variations of it: a bow-grab, mermaid, and king pigeon all on offer.
~~~
Overall, it’s an all-levels approach on the slow side, not without its challenges.
~~~
I felt sweet, alive and awakened after the session. May you also!
Expect: full breaths sweet opening; strong standing; inversion; chapasana or bow-grab motif (some call this partridge pose); spontaneous sequencing done in 4 planes, woohoo; splits!; pigeon, king pigeon; savasana
Head over heels for you!
Have a wonderful start to your new year.
With Love,
